In February 2012 we vistited the house for the weekend and started digging out the old cast-iron sewage pipe so that we could install a new modern piping system, that was hard work as the floor is made up of old stone.
The sewage pipe has been dug out in the Kellar and ready to be replaced, I laid out the new pipework ready to ensure I had all the parts.
Now we need to dig down from upstairs to join up with the kellar, will have to wait until Easter as run out of time.
