Middle of July saw us back at the house, final preparations for the August work (4 weeks of clearing out the rubbish).
The old fuse board was removed, the existing wires labelled prior to installation of a new modern fuse board.
The new (temporary) fuse board includes RCD protection for the electric shower and water heater. Also ran new feed cables to the existing lighting circuits and removed the old cables (sinlge wires inside a metal tube!).
The old bed from upstairs was moved downstairs and “fixed” ready for Dad to sleep on.
Ready now for the workers in August 2012.
